Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ScaleLeadAI, operated by Lee Miele ("we," "us"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, company name, and a securely hashed password.
- Content you create: the leads, notes, tags, statuses, and outreach drafts you save in the Service.
- Business lead data: publicly available information about businesses (such as name, address, website, and phone number) that the Service retrieves from third-party data sources on your behalf.
- Usage & technical data: basic log information such as your IP address, browser type, and actions taken in the Service.
2. How we use your information
We use information to:
- provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- authenticate you and keep your account secure;
- operate features like lead discovery, scoring, and outreach drafting;
- respond to support requests; and
- comply with legal obligations.
3. Business lead data
The Service surfaces information about businesses from public sources. This is generally business-level information (for example, a company name, website, or public phone number), not consumer profiles. You are responsible for how you use this information, including complying with applicable laws when you contact a business. If a business asks to be removed from your records, you are responsible for honoring that request within the Service.
4. Third-party services
We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Service, including OpenStreetMap (Nominatim and Overpass) and the Google Places API for business data, and a hosting and database provider to run the application. These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is required for the Service to function and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Service, when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.
7. Data retention
We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including hashing passwords and restricting access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA). To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below and we will respond as required by law.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. International users
The Service may be operated from, and your information may be processed in, the United States. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data-protection laws than your own.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes may be communicated through the Service.
